August 15th, 16th, 17th long weekend, were planning to go to Ooty, but heavy rains in those areas, we dropped the idea. I left to Mandya. Got an idea on 15th, still we could plan a trip on 16th, one day trip to Devarayana durga.
How to get there? Nelamangala highway -> Dabaspet -> Take right and straight you will reach the peak. No kidding, there is a neat and clean road to the peak, I was a bit sad, I wanted a medium level trek.
There is a beautiful temple of Narasimha swamy in the peak. We visited the temple and climbed to the top, clicked some photos and climbed some rocks to reach the ultimate point. The view is fantastic from the top. Morrrrre fotos and we started the descent.
Below there is Namada chilume, clicked some more fotos and left to Goravanahalli to visit Lakshmi temple. When we started back to Bangalore, it was raining cats and dogs. It was great fun, but risky too in the rains, well car driving is very difficult.

Ya I am glad we started it before we all turned 30 and started seeing our hairs go gray ;), but for some time now I felt it would take us eternity to for all this to happen LOL, anyways, all these days we were just plain existing, but now we have started living.
